Who we are

We are a team of well-experienced aquatic and terrestrial ecologists, working for government and industrial clients.

Kilgour & Associates Ltd. was established in 2008. The company offers consulting services in research, policy and program development in the natural sciences including aquatic ecology, water quality, terrestrial ecology, ecological risk assessment, permitting and sustainable development. The company, situated in Ottawa, and its associates are currently working for public and private sector organizations including pulp and paper, mining, oil and gas, urban development companies and federal and municipal governments.

We conduct research in support of the development of government science policy and program development and implementation. Kilgour & Associates can provide the natural sciences component throughout the life cycle of any project including environmental constraints analysis, environmental impact statements, environmental assessment, permits and approvals, and ongoing monitoring. KAL can also ensure that an organizations policies and programs are current and that they reflect your organizational structure and management framework. Our work supports and incorporates sustainable development principles.
